About the East Lansing Baseball Club

Jersey The ELBC is a domestic non-profit corporation made up of volunteer members who wish to develop and promote youth baseball in the greater East Lansing community.

We participate in the Mason Baseball/Softball Club Pony League. Each age division offers three different levels of play to match a player and team's skill. These levels are competitive, middle, and recreational. For more information on the Mason Baseball/Softball Club Pony League, please visit their website.

Youth Participation

All East Lansing Youth between the ages of 9 and 14 may participate. Should the number of skilled players and the availability of qualified coaches allow, an attempt will be made to form two teams in each division. The age-determination date is May 1st; for example, if your child is 12 years old on May 1st of this year, they would play in the 12U division. The teams will be formed based on age criteria, not school grade criteria. Click here for more information on the various divisions of teams we offer.

Season Dates

Practice begins in mid-April and games begin in mid-May. League and tournament play is typically completed by the end of July.
